At this site you will find stories about
our missions, our schedule of events,

on search and rescue dogs.
We train Strike K-9 search and rescue
dogs to put their amazing sense of smell
to good use. Our dogs learn to find
people lost in the woods. We respond to
requests for help in locating lost
hunters, hikers, children, and elderly
people.
Based in Central Pennsylvania, STRIKE
K-9 is non-profit and
affiliated with the Pennsylvania
Search and Rescue Council (PSARC). Our
volunteers are certified by
Pennsylvania's Department of
Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).
Our search and rescue dogs are available
for dispatch every day of the year, 24
hours a day, in all weather conditions.

Mission
Statement
STRIKE K-9's
mission is
to train,
equip, and
mobilize
personnel
for the
purpose of
saving
lives. We

cooperatively
with
emergency
services and
law
enforcement
agencies in
the location
of missing
persons. We
provide
community
education on
the topics
of
Wilderness
Safety and
Disaster
Preparedness.
